jello fight at thanksgiving point

they turned the sprinklers on after, and even though we didnt get much jello on us, the grass was completely covered in jello, so our feet were very sticky
and we're done with the jello fight...andrew didnt let go of the jello he grabbed, he told me "i want to keep it" because he wanted to eat it...
Jen was laughing because as she handed old bread crumbs to andrew he was trying to eat them...

i can't tell you how nice it was to be able to put both sleeping kids in the stroller! usually i had to pick one to wake up, but not today! they both slept very well in here, and it was nice to be able to walk around for a little bit before they woke up and just enjoy the flowers.
i think they both look quite comfortable. i really like that this stroller has extra padding. and it steers and pushes so nicely! its definitely one of my favorite things i've ever bought so far...its making the thought of selling the peg perego bearable. because i do love that stroller very much...but i dont have a NEED for  two....
so here you have it. we went to thanksgiving point last night for the monday night activities themed "did someone say jello fight?" and i called them to make sure thats what it was, and yes, you come join in a jello fight. although andrew didnt want to be in a jello fight, he just wanted to take his dessert and go...which was fine with me, i didnt REALLy want to get all sticky if he didnt want to play...when we first got there the kids were both asleep so we walked around, then andrew finally woke up and we fed the fish, then went to the jello fight. only i parked my stroller on the grass a long way from the jello area, and all of a sudden, a million kids swarm us, covered in jello, chanting "jello! jello! jello!" which woke abby up, and i realized we were RIGHT where they unload the jello. i mean literally. i could not have picked a worse spot. it was almost comical to me, i had to laugh, because here i am, normally very protective of my strollers anyways, but here on my FIRST outing with the new one, i am stuck in the middle of a jello filled crowd of kids crazy for some new buckets of jello to throw. wow. how'd i manage that...? but luckily i was able to get out unscathed....and park my stroller in what i learned to be the "safe zone" where the bulk of the parents were and they told me no jello was allowed over there... anyways we had fun. i have loved my thanksgiving point pass. the gardens are always amazing, and they do so many activities that are free with your membership, its a lot of fun. well. its 5 am. i have been up since 3:30 when abby momentarily woke crying. i just went in a gave her a binky and put a  blanket on her, and she went back to sleep...but i cannot. i think im an insomniac. i hate it when i get woken up and have to get out of bed in the middle of the night because i can't seem to ever get back to sleep for a couple of hours...ugh. well good morning! i'm off to bed.

You should make dan get up since you can't get back to sleep.

loved the pics of Auntie Jen, she looks sooo happy to be around, and the jell-o food fight looked really fun.
