Independence Day 2014

We started the morning hiking Bells Canyon 

it was a glorious morning!

tried out the moby wrap for Owens first hike!

When we came here last fall and there was a big beach there! it was so much fuller!

poor charlie brown fell in the water. amazing right? those rocks don't look slippery at all;)

they wanted to live life on the edge;)

this came in handy for the way back! she didn't ride the whole way down but it was enough to give her a good break.

my new dress from my mom! her and mary brought it to me in the hospital. at first i thought i would be way too chunky for this dress but its more flattering than i thought:)

I made a Mommy & me book for Isabella, something for her to remember she wasn't forgotten because of the new baby

they did 9 miles in the morning and another 2 that night! way to go!!!

i had to save this for when the children were in  bed... #muchtoogoodforchildren

He really doesn't like to be put down, this was a welcome (short lived) sight the other day, i love holding him but i really had a to get a few things done... 

Yesterday we went to the coolest splash park with a really fun playground. everyone had  a great time!

So for Independence Day we started off very early with a hike up Bells Canyon. It was a beautiful morning, got a little warm on the way back. Owen stayed in my moby wrap, and seemed pretty happy in there! the kids like it for the most part, it seems like about all of them fell at one time or another, but overall they liked it. The reservoir was much more full than when we went in the fall. After that we went to Jen's house and Dan made my grandma FLo's baked beans, which are always a favorite. I don't normally like baked beans, but these are perfect! We left the house around 7:20 am, and didn't get home until 11:30 pm. It was a long day full of lots of fun!!!
