We had a rather quiet 24th, stayed home and did a bbq and some fireworks. I liked that because jen and margo came, and it was great to avoid the crowds! We did our bbq, had home made lemon ice cream from margo (which was a HIT, the whole gallon got eaten...) and watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (jen hadn't seen it before), and then did sparklers and some fireworks dan had picked up. Jen slept over and we did a bike ride, and then she left to drop off dan at work. that was super helpful because then I can just pick him up from work, instead of him having to come home to get me, or driving 2 cars home tonight (i HATE driving at night. i don't love it during the day but I avoid driving at night whenever possible, also don't like driving in rain or snow. )
The newest little Jacobson is up to 12 pounds today! he was 6 weeks as of yesterday and is growing splendidly. Still not giving us much for smiles, soon right? he sleeps pretty well though, wakes up about 3 times each night to each and usually goes right back to sleep. I don't have too much to say today, and i am trying to be quiet so I don't wake up abby who is sleeping on my bed;) so i will quit typing now:)
