Memorial Day 2014

she was not going to sink, she had a life jacket, tube, and sat in a tube with a net most of the time.

So for memorial day we had a wonderful day. it was one of the best days in a long time! dan had it off work, which was fabulous- a 3 day weekend is always dreamy. we did stuff around the house, then went up to Jen's house for a bbq. on the way i stopped at the childrens place outlet and got abby a new swim suit (i got isabellas a couple days ago). we swam with sam and heidi's kids, and the water was heated so it was very enjoyable! after that we went to a great little park near her house (like next door to their subdivision), and the kids rode bikes, played on equipment, played baseball with the parents (except me and heidi) and we grilled hot dogs and had cookies and snacks. the kids were worn out when we left, they played so hard. i was really sad for the day to end and for work/school to resume. tomorrow starts summer break officially, and i am a little nervous. i need to have a schedule for the kids somewhat just to make sure they don't get too bored and fight and complain and whine...and drive me nuts. i love being with them but when they got bored it gets really old really fast to hear them fighting... that kind of goes without saying tho doesnt it? if i was smarter i would have already done this little planning stage.. we need to stay busy tho, its just days now until baby should be coming and i don't want to get bored or too impatient myself. well, thats about it. mary leaves in the morning for her new home, and thats a major bummer. i just can't get excited about that part... anyways goodnight.
