End of MAY

SO for the last day of may here is what we've been up to! started off fun with mary & leo having slept over. the kids were struggling this morning for various reasons... but it was ok. we got our saturday morning jobs done for the most part, and then andrew had a soccer game at 10 that mary went to. it was hot, but thats ok. andrew played really well, and in fact his coach told me he was naming andrew MVP. wow! great job andrew. we got to play with thew new camera at the game which was fun. the only thing is it keeps saying to clean the sensor where the lens communicates with the camera ;/ after googling it and seeing some demos on YouTube i am so not confident about doing that... unless i want to spend a ton of money on little cleaning tools they use, and even then i would be nervous of ruining my lens... ugh. always something eh? anyways game went well, dan took the girls to the park for a few minutes as we were wrapping up which they were thrilled about. isabella was tired during the game, asking for a nap and asking for binky, and asking for "somethin", i don't think she knew what she wanted. then we came back, i got the kids something to eat, put isabella down for a nap, took a cap nap myself until jenny got here and then we went to get a pedicure. Oh my lovely. it was heavenly. its been a couple years since i've had one, and boy is that a luxury i wish i could do regularly! it was just fabulous. we came back and jen fed the kids lunch, then we went to a candy factory that is pretty close. it was cool and they had some cute little candies, it was like a gift shop/candy factory. kinda cool:) then we got snow cones. they took a while to make and the kids had a hard time waiting in the hot sun (they were very busy) but they were delish when we did get them! and HUGE. yum. i had promised andrew he could go get a new soccer ball (since his disappeared at school = i did not think it was a great idea to take anyways...but that was just my opinion..) costco had some a while back that seemed like a good deal, but those were gone so him and jen ran into walmart and got one. and they got a couple cones to make goals or what not. andrew was super excited. and thats about most of the day. we got home and it was dinner time, jen and katie left, we went to see how dan was doing putting bunk beds up. we had been missing hardware for the beds for the past 2 weeks and i didn't think they would actually turn up, but VOILA dan cleaned out the garage and bunch and they were found! wahoooo! so abby was THRILLED her "top bed" was put together (mostly) and they are sleeping in it tonight:) we had to rearrange the toy room and i put the crib up in andrews room so i had to rearrange a few things in there too. we need to hang pictures and rearrange some smaller things- but it feels great to have the beds all put together and ready to go! and dan did the dishes and pots n pans tonight which i had been planning on doing, and it was a super nice treat when he said he took care of that. ahhh:) kids are now in bed in their OWN beds;) not totally helpful yet for bella, she came in our room SIX times last night between 2-4 am. and then came in at 5 or 6 something and i let her stay because i was exhausted. anyways enjoy the pics.
went swimming at jennys pool, it was almost all to ourselves a lot of the time:)

she is doing great! and then said she was too scared to try a back float (with help) without the life jacket...

Happy Summer Days...
