Happy 2nd Birthday Abigail!

I tried to get some good pics of her at 2, but we didnt come up with anything spectacular. i still have a ton of pictures to post, but abby didnt want to smile for me.
Andrew totally wanted in on the pictures, and keeps giving me this smile... sort of endearing but not his real smile (haha thank goodness!)
For about a month, we have a 2 yr old and a 3 yr old!
This is how abby takes pictures. upside down and wrong side out.
andrew has been looking with his binoc's lately because dan has gotten our binoc's out to see things around the valley...
andrew made her laugh. he does this really ...stupid is the first word that comes to mind, voice and then bonks his own head on stuff, and it seriously makes her laugh. which  makes me laugh because at first i didnt think it would even work at all... but he was right. it was right up her alley.
this is kind of funny. he was giving her a hug and bonked her head, and she didnt seem to like that much...
i was trying to get him to give me a little more normal smile....
how abb uses the noc's
i need to do a collage for andrew of just all his faces. him and dan  both...
its a little washed out, but i like this one.
i Love this little guy.
andrew was whipping her around in the car, and she was LOVING every minute.
what did we do to make her smile so big? Sing Happy Birthday, thats what!
i love each one of her little smiles.... i couldn't get enough of them.
she wasn't too excited to open presents... she actually fought me sitting her down...
i thought this was cute from Katie.
i LOVE abbys face here. she was so mad they were on her horse. HA! haha...
she pushed them off and took it back....
taking it out for a ride!
doesn't quite work with 2..
the boys played the wii, i thought they should get to do something fun since abby wasn't sharing the pony well...

So yesterday Abby turned 2! The weather ended up rainy and chilly, but we had a good day anyways! We had a party with sam and heidi and their kids. Jen and Margo were in Hawaii so they came over last week (the last post...). We had cupcakes, and I made barbie cake. i wasn't sure if it would turn out strange, and i guess it was a little strange, but i think it did ok. we ended up doing candles on a cupcake though, i just wasn't sure where to put them on a dress... Abby LOVED when we sang happy birthday. its the only time i got great smile pics of her. she was sort of grumpy it seemed like when we opened presents, though she got a nap so she shouldn't have been... who knows. i think she is cutting her 2 yr molars, that might have contributed. she got some really great presents this year! jen gave her the doll with bath accessories and a little blanket and pillow. margo got her mega blocks (which have been one of andrews favorite things!), sam and heidi got her a fridge magnet game that sings the ABC song and has all the letters- both kids have been playing with that a lot. its so cute, abby sings pretty clearly all the letters! not when the song isnt going, she struggles a little more, but when she is singing with the song she sings very well. andrew was lining up all the ABCs this morning in their proper order. he was really enjoying that. singing the song every couple letters to refresh his memory. We got Abby a new ball popper, theirs seems to have a kink ever since storage, its just weird and doens't always work right...but both kids LOVE playing with that. i feel bad though , i forgot to check for batteries and it came with none, so its not been played with yet... we got her a pillow pet (the unicorn), (and we got andy the puppy, i gave it to him already since we are going to California tomorrow for a week). Dan picked out a little glass bead necklace for her, which broke, so we need to restring it. which we had planned on anyways, so no big deal. (i am going to string it on elastic). We also got her her own purse, she tries to carry mine all the time. i found one for $2 or $3... and then the Cinderella Barbie that we used for her cake. she likes to make sure the shoes are on her barbie, its kind of tricky though because they don't seem to fit tightly so they just keep falling off. i may glue them...Then we found something on half off clearance i was REALLY excited about. i hadn't even thought of this, we just happened to run into it. i didnt even notice it, dan actually is the one who picked it up. its a pink and purple furry pony on springs, sort of like one i had when i was little (only that was hard plastic). if you squeeze the ear it sings (and its mouth also moves). Abby totally LOVES her pretty pony. she just yanks the ear back , its pretty funny. she doesn't know you just have to squeeze a little, but yanking it back does the job i suppose. andrew is pretty jealous right now. he loves the pony, and the ABC game. and he is having a hard time waiting for his birthday. Luckily for him its only in 3 weeks, when i was little me and marys birthdays were 6 months apart, and i remember crying at her birthday party for the first couples years... anyways, well on to some pictures! sorry they are not edited, i really love to edit pictures, but today i haven't the time. since we get to "SPRING forward" that means one less hr to get ready for teaching primary and get the kids, myself, ect ready for church... anyways, we had a very happy birthday!
A few things about Abby at 2:
She LOVES to sing, her favorites are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, 5 Little Monkeys, and singing made up lullabys to her babies, in a soft and soothing singing voice. its too sweet.
She wakes us up literally by kisses. i think every morning i get wet little kisses to wake me up. its SOOO sweet.
She loves to cuddle, and sleep in andrews bed. we always find her RIGHT next to him snuggled up.
She will eat almost anything, she LOVES green salad and is such a good eater! especially LOVES her vitamins.
She loves to be pretty and dress up, as well as undress. she is always trying to pull off her clothes...and diaper. she is wanting very much to be potty trained.
she loves pushing her stroller, grocery cart and babies around. she always gets them a blanket, and gets very frustrated if the blanket won't stay on.
She LOVES her blankets, and usually has at least one on hand.
She loves nursery, which we LOVE as well.
She still takes a nap, which we love too:)
Her favorite thing at the park is the swings. then the slides... which she has finally braved! last year she was too scared for the slides.
She insists on having adult silverware, and tosses any baby or toddler silverware we give her aside, and goes to pick her own...usually an oversized spoon.
She LOVES to help- throw things away for us, unload the dishwasher (even if they are dirty), and any job we give her is totally welcome!
She talks so well, she repeats everything, and is constantly learning new words she hears us say.
She loves to walk, if i put her in the stroller she fights it, and tells me "I want to walk!". (she pronounces it "bak".
She has her 2 yr appt on the 29th, so we'll she how she is on height and weight then.
So far she has been a very happy, healthy, adorable, sweet, (but she can hold her own...) little girl. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. We love her and couldn't imagine life without her!
