Our Weekend

My brother Tom and his wife Michelle took Alivia, their new adopted baby thru the Idaho Falls Temple to be sealed on saturday. Alivia is such a good baby! she is so calm, and the girls just love being big sisters! On the same day (sat) my sister jenny gave birth to a new baby girl! she has pics on her blog, i wish we lived closer so i could see her baby in person!
he was so happy for a picture. he kept telling me we couldn't take lots of pictures.

pointing to a "baby", aka creepy skeleton. poor little lamb! she must need more baby dolls;)

abby and her grandpa

it goes Mommy, Daddy, Andrew, Abby. notice how daddy and andrew look alike, and abby and mommy. i am so proud of my little artist!!!!
So andrew is cracking me up lately. He has been getting so much better with his behavior towards abby. today i felt especially bad for him, and put abby in naughty point, which sort of worked...but not really. she hit his cheek with a lightening mcqueen car. OUCH! he has a bruise from it. she got him good. i was pretty impressed, he didn't retaliate. now i just have to teach abby not to do that (he did do that for a while with her, but he's been really good for a while. she just remembers well i think the past)...so thats our work in progress. today when i got home from running an errand, i went in the kitchen to get a drink, and andrew followed me and says "so...how did it go?" HA! what a funny kid. asking me how my errand went. i said "good, how did it go here?" he said "good...well actually bad. dad shut the door, and wouldn't let me in (i think he had work stuff in our room, and the kids were messing it up)." haha. he's becoming such a funny kid these days. and sweet a lot too, i like that. he tells me he loves me, and i can tell he is being totally sincere. and i hear him tell that to abby too, one night after i had put them to bed, i heard him get up and go over to her crib and say "i love you baby", and then he went back to bed. and he LOVES playing with her now, not really with toys, but when they chase each other, today they entertained each other for a while just running around, one would run into the room, shut the door and wait for the other one to go "find" them. our weather has been nice, we have still been able to go outside without a coat for the most part, and the park is still an option. we just got back last night from idaho falls (the kids and i), where my brother tom and his wife michelle had their baby #3 who they adopted recently sealed to them. that was neat. i was glad i could be there for that. my parents were also in town, and flew out VERY early this morning. it was good to see them both again, it doesn't happen too often. tomorrow andy goes back to preschool. he drew his first family picture today. it was so adorable! i will try to include it here. the pictures from the farm are from thursday morning, Wheeler Farm. we had a good time! it was a little rushed, as was the whole weekend, but we still had a good time.
