andrew was so excited about the flowers he gave me. we put them in a lightening mcqueen cup on the table. they were fake. but he loved it.

these sad faces were from the car wash. he was so scared of it, it was really sad. he never wants to go thru a car wash again.

they have a photo contest for the tulip festival, so i tried a couple shots. i am not sure if its over or not, either way i like the pics...

she's not sure why i set her down in a flower bed, but the flowers are so pretty! if only she would have smiled.

they BOTH loved this part... i call this part of their trip "running". the video of this i realize starts out sideways, but i remembered that i can't rotate the video pretty quickly, but its still fun to watch. abby was just screaming with delight.

i'm so glad that man with the blue shirt decided to walk by just now....

she did better going down the slide this time...

andrew took these pics. he LOVES taking pictures. i set him on the table so he could stand a chance, and he did a pretty fine job;)

so my mothers day went well... although we ate at chuckarama (i usually hate buffets, i haven't been to one in 2 yrs...) but we went anyways and afterwards i started feeling kind of sick, and it keeps dragging, like now, its sunday night, and that was friday night, but abby woke up screaming, so i ran and picked her up and then to her disappointment set her back down in her crib but stood there for a little bit til i knew/hoped she would stay asleep, that was at 3 something, but when i got back to bed my stomach kind of hurt and i haven't been able to get back to sleep, its almost 5, my mind is wide awake so i thought i'd catch up on my posting...mothers day was good though, got a cd, some ghirardeli chocolate, and a little dove chocolate. can't wait til maintenance is over so i can eat them! which by the way maintenance is going so well. i'm having all i want and not gaining a thing (knock on wood.) dan and andrew each got me a card (andrew had a little help from daddy i think.) his card was cute, it had a toddler wrapped in toilet paper on the front and said "a little help please" and on the inside it said "hope you're not too wiped out to enjoy mothers day". dan made us breakfast and was very helpful all day. thats exactly what i told him i wanted. a day off. andrew gave me flowers from nursery, which he was SO excited about, he kept telling me and dan that he got mommy flowers. such a sweetie when he wants to be. or rather when abby isn't messing up his toys, or frustrating his plans. we also went to, you guessed it! thanksgiving point again. i love that place. pretty gardens, so much greenery, you wouldn't know you were in utah county, utah! and the kids garden area has a lot of fun stuff like a little stream with wooden boats that andrew can sail down and catch at a small pond on the bottom. oh and abby has 12 teeth now! and shes still officially 13 months old... what a mouthful. maybe thats why she had been waking up at night so much? who knows. the last 3 nights (til tonight) i did score a pretty lucky streak, she slept solid thru the night and so did andrew. i also slept like a rock, it was great. enjoy the videos, andrew was reading himself a bedtime story, i was busy getting abby ready for bed, i thought it was pretty cute because he remembers most of the words. its the usborne book On the Moon, one of his all time favorites. Where the Wild Things Are is another of his favorites. the other day he said "i'll eat you up!"...haha. he wasn't threatening me, just saying it from the book. well its a little after 6, and abby could really get up at any time, so maybe i'll go see if i can get back to sleep...

Glad you had a good Mother's Day! And Abby is looking so much like you. She's adorable. Anyways, see you tomorrow. :-)
Really cute pictures, except for the one where I am traumatizing Andrew by driving my car through the car wash! I feel so bad... he looks so scared in the picture. I even got a look from my mom when she saw the picture of Andrew looking terrified. Bad auntie.
