i am lucky this top pic turned out, and so glad it did. i love it, its totally our girl! barely got the camera up to take a picture when she did this, so i just snapped as quickly as i could without really being able to center or focus much, but today was lucky day.

this is one from marys wedding photographer. i really like it. its a very honest shot of andrew.

So Abigail has been a little mommy for months now, literally, she LOVES her baby dolls, and although she doesn't play with them all the time (there are ANDREWS toys around here- she has to make sure she is keeping up with him and his things!) she really does love them. she holds them really tightly against her chest and puts her little chubby cheek next to theirs and just beams. her little smile is like nothing else in the world, its just the sweestest little most innocent thing. she is such a fun baby girl to have with us, i feel so blessed to have her as my baby girl. she has such a motherly instinct, even as a baby. its really amazing that we are born with different roles right from the start. andrew was very loving as a baby, but a lot of his love directed towards stuffed animals was because they were soft and he LOVES anything soft or furry. it was actually funny this morning i was wearing my robe, which is QUITE soft, its like plush, and he came over to feel it (he loves to be wrapped up in it), and said "these feathers mom?" he is so inquisitive and smart. he remembers so much. like today, we were driving to the gym, and he saw a white honda civic just like his grandma's and said "look, just like grandma's car!" i was amazed. it was across the street going thru a drive thru, we weren't even right next to it or anything! and the other day he told me the clouds eat tree's. he came up with that on his own. he loves to play what i call "make believe or real". like "does your truck eat toast?" and he loves to play, he gets a big grin and laughs "NOOO!" and we do that with different things all the time. the other day dan was trying to help andrew understand why he can't have M&Ms for breakfast, and Dan said "it will make your tummy upset" or mad or something, and andrew laughs and said "no! my tummy doesn't have a mouth to talk mean!" he thought dan was being sooo funny with that one. spring MIGHT be coming here finally. today was pretty nice while we were at the park, then some storm clouds came in and andrew came up to me "its getting darker!" he is really noticing when clouds move overhead and it makes it less bright outside... hes also pretty scared of storm clouds. and car washes. but he has watched The Wizard of Oz twice this week, not scared of that. then again dans favorite movie at that age i think was Jaws, and mine was the wizard of oz, funny its still extremely familiar when i see that movie. i think i still have it memorized. abby has decided she LOVES smoothies, i have to make a significant amount more now, she guzzles mine down, and im okay with that, its protein powder, fresh fruit, water, ice, stevia to sweeten it, and usually thats about it, sometimes some cream or cream cheese or cottage cheese in there. i LOVE LOVE LOVE my vitamix. and my blend tec mixer, and my k-tec (blend tec) wheat grinder. all the best things in the world. i totally suggest all 3. i am just very happy today. i am happy with my life. i am very happy with my family i have been blessed with, the family was born into, the family i gained with marriage, and the family dan and i have together with our babies. life is really good. there are certainly areas for improvement, things that i want or need, that sort of thing, but i am HAPPY. no amount of any possessions really has anything to do with that (although don't disprove me by taking away any of the above listed favorite kitchen appliances!). but yah. i am just happy. and thankful for what i have. i love my husband and my kids and all my family so much. i am so lucky. i have no idea exactly what i did to be so greatly blessed, but i am grateful. with that said, enjoy some pictures.
