its may! and the food tour...

a couple picnik'd pics.

after we put andrew to bed, often abby is still up for a little while and she usually just plays around, she loves running over to daddy for kisses and hugs...

this picture is from our Food Tour in grand salt lake. we went to Sweet Candy Company factory, where they make sweedish fish, salt water taffy, tons of candy. MMMM, it was fun touring. we had to wear little blue hair nets. even abby. and they seriously enforced it even on a abbs. which was fun for me as you can imagine... then we went to Nauvoo Cafe. MMM. love that place. then the new Deseret Book stores flagship store, it was neat. i LOVE the feeling you when you are there. its so strong. i just love love love it. i could buy it up. if i had the money to...haha. but seriously i always want to buy everything in that store. the books, the decorations, the childrens books and crafts and toys, i just absolutely love it all...and then we went to Western Nut company. very rich fudge there. a sample was enough for me! then we went to a candy store in ...whats it called... village something. gardner village. thats it. and then we went to a pastry shop (by the wagon here) and it was so good. then the next day me and jen stopped at a place near my house thats new and tried a doughnut, its called Beyond Glaze. MMMM is all i can say. they do fancy decorated doughnuts. (haha why would i LOVE a place like that? my next goal is to try it myself!! with whole wheat of course.)
mary-beerad (andrew calls them by this, kind of like one word...) went to jackson to live in their treehouse and stopped by to say goodbye! we'll miss them, but we are going to see them sometime, i am way excited for that...
the hat. and the sling. still lovin it. at least she is. and its nice when i DO have to carry her...

i love her little dress... i was actually trying to get a picture of her piggies, i did them myself and got it all up! but of course in back a lot of it came out, but still cute...
i LOVE this new hat on her. she doesn't keep it on most of the time. but when she does...ohhh its too cute!!!
andrew LOVES this race car at the jumpin jacks place. i should put a quarter in it sometime....it would blow his mind...
i love this pic (above)....soooo classic.

it was really nice going in the morning, because there was hardly anybody around. we basically had the place to ourselves.

its kind of funny, this pic (above). the little hole they are coming out from is because that hill thing they are supposed to climb up and slide down, on the side you climb one of the things is broken (thats a common problem here, they have a lot of broken jumping things...luckily for little kids it doesn't make too much of a difference), but anyways so andrew and kortney were going around the side...i just thought it was funny.

at the bounce castle place....

these are her one year old pics. yep, all 3! she was just terrible. the appt was not long after her 1 yr old dr appt and i think she still remembered it, when i set her down she completely FREAKED. she was happy before, and happy after we left. but while we were trying to get pictures of her she was in meltdown mode... it made me so sad...so most of her pictures she looks like she has been crying. because she had. and these were the best ones... i really should take her back in sometime and try again.
i do like how this one turned out (above)

So may has come...april was a busy month. abby got 2 new teeth in april. one molar and one on top on the side, its not an eye/canine tooth but its not really a molar , maybe something in between... so she has 10 teeth, and another molar probably coming this month. andrew was registered for HeadStart today, i really really hope he is able to get in, its hard because he is only 3, and they accept way more 4 yr olds than 3 yrs olds. so i have no idea what his chances are, but lets hope! today we went to Jumpin Jacks, its as you might guess a jumping playland place. andrew loves it, he has had so much fun. abby wants nothing to do with the jumping castles or slides (i took her up some and went down with her, i dont think she ever did like it...). oh , i applied to jet blue. they aren't currently hiring, but if they do... i kind of hope i can work with them. for 6 wks i would go in for training, but after that i would work from home with customer service. it would be sooooo nice if i could get some free or discounted flights. i love traveling and my family is all far away. i really NEED to get out more. and so i am really hoping they call me and i can work there part time.... i am thinking like 3 days a week from home, like a mon, tue wed thing, and that way if i want to get away for the rest of the week/weekend i can. what else.... lets see. ... oh andrew sang the whole ABC song on sunday during breakfast. where did that come from!? we didn't teach him...and today we were driving and he saw a camry, same year and color as ours, and said "look like our car!" i was amazed he picks up on that much detail at barely 3 yrs old! he is so smart its amazing me all the time. oh yah. and i started maintanence today. so i am down 20 lbs from when i started instead of 30. not a total betty but a vast improvement....so hopefully maintenance will go well this time....
And jen just brought it to my attention that i forgot to mention my favorite stop!!! it was the Hatch Family Chocolate company, from the TLC show The Little Chocolatiers. Yay THE TV show!! so cool. and the man who owns the shop and went to high school with jen, so we even to go talk to them and stuff, it was really cool, if you haven't watched their show its really amazing, they build all kinds of amazing things with chocolate, and we got a couple to try, and oh my goodness they were SOOO delicious. no regrets there.... i can't wait to go back!!! hand dipped caramels, and i got something else... i hadn't gotten it before... i can't think of the name... and its driving me crazy that i can't think of it. and i have been googling their store but i can't find a website with anything helpful, other than a lot of really good reviews on their hot chocolate and pot de creme whatever that is... so there you have it. last but not least!!! oh and i did remember the name of that candy, it was a Bavarian Mint. MMMM...
