| Andrew and Bentley (the other little boy in his swim class) |
| abby...always stuck in the stroller. and always asking to go get in the water.... |
| he is doing really well, i am just so impressed. i guess i underestimated how quickly he would catch on to everything! |
| andrew totally looks like his daddy here- dan used to wear these big glasses and it kind of reminds me of those pictures of him when he was little... |
| he was LOVING the goggles. he is getting so brave and confident in the water. |
| heading to the deep end to try jumping in. |
| i love the action shots... |
| showing me his cool tricks... (this was at the draper park yesterday) |
| we've got to find something else to make her smile. "cheese" isn't really a smile at all... |
| mr cool with his tricks! |
| showing me how he sits backwards.... |
| she LOVES her tricycle. |
| this is kind of a weird picture but very abby... she is big into expressions. |
| i had to take a picture of her during family prayer, i love how cute she is. jen gave abby some night gowns she has made for the girls over the years that are now abbys size, and up until now abby hadn't wanted to wear them. but last night she chose this one and it was so adorable!! |
Of this course. I actually signed andrew up for another round of swim lessons that starts tuesday:) he is doing so well i would just hate to see him stop. Today i took some pictures (since i think i last took pictures on his first day), and he has made tons of progress! he's always been a fish in the water, i knew that, but swim lessons have totally taught him more confidence and he is learning skills. His teacher said he can now float on his back, and she said he could skip the next level (pre 3) and move on to level 1. she said they may even move him up to level 2. so i am very proud of little andrew boy! he also got some goggles the other day, he LOVES going under water and practicing his new swimming skills, so i thought goggles would blow his mind. i was totally right. he couldn't stop going under the water. his teacher had to hold him when she would talk to him or he would only come up for air. he absolutely LOVED them. i think they were a little tight (he had some marks around his eyes where they had been), so i will have to loosen them, but they worked! today i am not sure what our plans will be... i want something fun to do....perhaps take the kids swimming (we got abby goggles too she can try them out when she jumps into the water). we were going to a free concert in the park downtown, but im not sure that is still on. dan said he has been getting asthma today and he's not sure he'll be up for it:(. so if not, im not sure if me and the kids will go or just stay home. i have learned about myself that i am not built to stay home. i never knew that growing up because i dont think we ever DID stay at home much , we were always busy. which is my kind of life. if i dont leave the house much, it gets to me. but if i am going and busy, i am very happy. so i am extremely thankful for my sequoia! before that, it was so hard to stay at home. we did a lot of walks, and pretty much whatever we could to get out of the house... now walking isn't so fun at 32 wks along, my back is still no good- a pinched nerve in my lower back has been bothering me the whole pregnancy and its getting worse as the baby grows. which is too bad, because i used to love going on walks. someday i shall again. with the last 2 pregnancies i had the same exact pinched nerve (although it seems worse this time), and it went away after i had the baby. which is 7 weeks from today i might add!!! can't wait... i do wonder what she will look like, if she will be healthy and normal (that is the biggest worry...you never know until they are born...), and hopefully she will get abbys curly hair. we love the curly hair! this weekend for the 4th we are going to the lake in herriman i think tomorrow, and doing a bbq with sam and heidi and jen and margo monday. i think i am going to make tuna salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, i think i may try making jennys creamy cauliflower salad, and maybe some 4 star jello and cottage cheese. i am going to do as much with stevia as possible, dan has been trying to maintain his weight and using stevia in place of sugar helps so much. anyways, well i guess thats it for this morning. abby is taking a nap (much needed, she crawled into our bed sometime last night and was kicking me and laying on me and then started waking me up about 6. so yes i had a nap before 9 o'clock...let andrew play Wii and let abby play in her room...) well on to laundry and figuring out our plans for the day! enjoy the pics:)
