everyday life...

Ok so here are 3 carseats i'm considering. the bottom 2 are the same price, the top one (the britax marathon)is $20 more. read more on the bottom of the post for details...
sunday he fell asleep watching "cars" , he had refused to take a nap...

yes, the stupid binky is still a crutch, but aside from that, i thought it was funny the other night we went to check on andrew, we had put him to bed, and found him in his room with the light on, and him alseep like this here on the lovesac instead of in bed. i thought the little tummy was cute...

here is this little tongue, coming out a lot lately!

Here are some videos i think you'll enjoy. i feel bad because i couldn't keep from laughing when andrew started counting in the einsteins one, it was the first time i had seen him sing to the song, and it was just too much, but like i said, i feel really bad because he is so sensitive, now he will not sing that song because he thinks we were laughing at him. also, abby has been doing this funny thing with her tongue, sticking it out a lot. and saying "da-da-da-da" a lot. first word. if that counts, because i dont think she understands quite what she's talking about. i also included a video of andrew using his "pretend voice" he's started doing lately. saying like "oh no, daddy coming!" or in the car " oh nooooo, truck gonna get you! truck coming! truck gona hit us!" he talks really slow and high pitched. its really funny. also if anybody knows of a convertible carseat they love let me know. i've been looking at the first years true fit, and also the combi coccorro (both of which you can see at albeebaby.com ) so let me know what you think the combi only goes up to 40 lbs, where as the first years one goes up to 65, but the combi one is pretty cute, but so is the first years one in "monet". so let me know what you think. i am looking for a seat that is COMFORTABLE, safe (obviously..), 5 point harness of course, recline options, and good head support. i dont like it when carseats don't cradle kids heads when they fall asleep and their heads end up hanging down. i have the Evenflo triumph DLX for andrew and have loved it other than its bulky, but his head doesn't hang down or flop hard to one side when hes asleep and it also has a recline position, and no re-threading for seatbelt. i just want something different for abby, im just in the mood to try something new...of the images on the top, the first one is The First Years True Fit, in "monet" and the second is the Combi Coccorro. What do you like best? and like i said, the combi only goes to 40 lbs, and the other goes up to 65. im just wondering if i will want my kid in a 5 point harness until 65 pounds, is it necessary? will they really fit well that big? and the carseats are the same price. so give me your opinions... also to note, the first years one has some rebound bar thats supposed to be really a safety feature, and the top part of the headrest comes off so it can be installed better rear facing. and i love the print of both carseats. the combi one is very light and you can fit 3 of them in the backseat of a corolla, they are very compact and lightweight which i love. and it looks easy to install the combi one, and the britax are always rated well, and it has a 2 position recline, and looks comfortable. also goes up to 65 lbs. ... so i am in a little bit of a dilemma right now...or just suggest one i don't have on here if you have it and love it...

i have a sunshine kids radian 65- i LOVE LOVE LOVE it! it's a little pricey- a lot like the britax, but it's AWESOME. There is also a radian 80, another model of the same seat. The best thing about it is that it has a longer "shelf life" (7-10 yrs instead of the usual 5 yrs) and it's skinny so it doesn't take up the whole back seat. in fact, you can fit 3 across the backseat. they're not as cute, but definately worth looking at. Also,it folds up AND it fits bigger kids- it's the one Maggie uses right now (she's 6 years old and 43 lbs.)

I have to say that given the info and such (even though it's REALLY pink...which I'm not such a fan of), I like the middle picture. It think it would be a good option.
