So I guess I didnt load the rest of Abbys pictures, so here are some of her opening her presents. She got many art and craft supplies, some clothes, a beach towel, dress up...and I don't remember exactly what else. She was happy, which makes us happy. We went to an Easter Egg Hunt in Lehi today, and made it just in time, two minutes later and we'd have missed it (by the time we got to the sections for each kid), so glad we made that. It was super crowded, I kind of wish they didn't let parents accompany the little kids 1-3 bc it seemed there were two or three adults per tiny child, making it impossible for the little kids to get around and find eggs. Owen still loved it, and was very proud of his eggs. He needed no instruction (although of course I "egged" him on). I didn't get any pictures of the other kids hunts bc they started at the same time, so Dan went with them. It was quick, but the kids were thrilled. I was a bit surprised, because much of what was in the (very durable!) plastic eggs was not candy. I'm not against candy, I may not eat it for the time being, but overall I like a good candy once in a while. These eggs had things like erasers, bracelets (the little rubber ones), rings, glittery stick on earrings, pop up rubber things, stuff like that. The candy they did have were tootsie rolls, so Owen didnt get any. I think we found one thing of smarties that he got, but he didn't seem too into those. We came home and had the kids do a few jobs, and then I put owen down for nap 2, which I don't think he actually slept at all, but I woke up at 4:45 and couldn't go back to sleep, so by 1 oclock I was ready for a nap. I took a little nap and then gave in and got Owen, and we went outside where the kids were helping Dad in the yard. So the rest of the day the kids helped a little more with Dad, but found friends and mostly played outside. Bella and her friend wandered inside to do dress ups, but for the most part we enjoyed the sunny warm weather today. Owen was not even about to go inside, so our house was sort of a disaster when we came in. It was basically clean this morning, I don't know what went wrong so fast... the kids went to bed early tonight, except andrew who is watching the Utah game with his Dad. Enjoy the pictures!
And now on to the Easter Egg Hunt
