May and our start in June 2015

So we are to the final countdown to Owens first birthday! Some highlights of our past month-
*Abby had her exhibition for gymnastics and we took a break for the summer! She was thrilled to show off her skills and we are enjoying our freedom from scheduled activities!
*School is OUT! That has been mostly great. Some days hard- but mostly we are having lots of fun. Already done a splash pad, castle park, 4 mile hike, bike rides and more.
*Andrew started baseball (coach pitch). He also went to Carters game, which is  super serious- Andrew calls it Mini Pro. Its like Andrews dream come true. Bleachers, lights, concessions, full uniforms with names on the back, you get the picture. Maybe next year we can find something like that...
Well those are the main highlights, Oh and we had a visit from my  Mom and Dad! and Mary, Tom and Michelle and the kids. Tom & Michelle  stayed here, and the kids all had so much fun together. We went to the museum of curiosity (twice! and Owen  picked up a cold from crawling the floors for two days...). We went swimming, out to dinner a couple times (once without kids! wonderful. thank  you so much aunt Jen!). Pretty much a great start to summer. Today Andrew has been so good too, sundays have historically been one of the harder days ever for him to get through without melting down, or losing it someway or another. Today was great. He said thank you to us for almost everything, cuddled up during a movie, bore his testimony in church (as did Abby), and got himself all ready for church. Such a good day, and made me enjoy having him around so much.
OOH and I forgot, I didnt take my big camera but we went to a carnival yesterday. The kids were SOOO excited and I was pretty excited too, they had the zipper (too long of a line), some spinny ride that went up in the air (I went on that with Katie, Andrew, Abby and Carter) and then we went on the Gravitron (where you get sucked to the wall). They LOVED the gravitron. Isababella was happy to go on kiddie rides, and they did the huge slides, and a few other rides. It rained a bit, and looked pretty dark as we left (with thunder and lightening) , and we got some cotton candy, which I havent had in years, I love that stuff. Well on to some pictures:)
OOH and another BIG deal- Owen started WALKING!!! He's the sweetest boy. Loves hugs, and kisses, and has stolen our hearts forever with his sweetness, purity and kind, good soul. He brightens every single one of my days. I am so so so lucky to have each one of my children. They truly are the greatest blessings. I pray every day that I can be the mother they need.
