So we made it into Manhatten finally, after being here 3 weeks. Vivint Solar treated all their sales guys and wife's to dinner at the #1 rated steak house in Manhatten- Sparks Steakhouse. it was mega pricey, really nice, dress code, and apparently a big mob boss was gunned down in the doorway to this place in the 1980s. and it totally looked like some place the mob would frequent. and on top of that- we got to eat in a private dining room. 3 waiters who were not American from what i could tell... not sure where they were from. but it made it seem fancy. haha. and we had hors d'oevres (yah i had to google spelling of that one), which included lots of things i had never tried. then appetizer, i got something familiar- shrimp scampi, then salad (i got Cesar salad, asked for ranch dressing- they didnt have any...) then i got my steak, a $50 steak. wholy moly. glad i wasn't paying this bill. cause i bet it was huge. i was excited to enjoy all this good stuff though. it was a filet mignon, (i think thats spelled right...), and it was huge. so good, but too big to finish. which is saying something because i had me some steak! then we had a dessert that was soo good. i mean the New York Cheesecake was sublime. melted in my mouth. what i would do to get another piece of that stuff. YUM! i completely enjoyed it. so there you have it. that was our trip into the city for the first time. and we got a great babysitter too.
anyways, now you get some other fun pics. dan took a couple of me and Isabella, and i had fun with picnik while its still around. i used a lot of editing things i dont usually, and it was fun. but i figure i only have 1 more month left. so sad. so very very sad.
