So Abigail is 3 years old! she wore the same shirt she has worn on her birthday every year, its a 24 mo, so it was big on her 1st, just right last year, and actually decent this year. next year i'll have to get her another one... we had french toasted pancakes for breakfast, cake and ice cream at the park with our friends here, and then got some chicken nuggets for the kids and took them to the gym. watched abbys new movie "Cinderella". came just in time for the party today! i think she had a good day:) she has changed so much the past year. shes wearing 3T clothes, shoes are about a size 7, fully potty trained (sometimes has "accidents", but accidents they are anything but). Her favorite things are Dora, Princess things of any sort, her babies, and singing. she eats most of what we cook, or at least tries it. that has been nice. she is much less picky than andrew. she seems healthy, happy and we are very glad she is a member of our family!
So below are a few excerpt's from FB, i put stuff on there that i may want to remember.
march 1st-Well tried to give Isabella her first baby food today ( she even got her first tooth yesterday!) but she totally doesn't like bananas...
listening to "give said the little stream", andrew said "is give-oh-give like share?" me "yeah" andrew "well why do they said it in spanish?" so funny.
I gave Abby a mike n Ike, she said "mommy thank you for cookin me treats". I think I'm getting just a little more credit than I deserve for that one!
why yes, i'm a large white...
kind of funny, candle blowing didnt work. it was windy...so we couldnt get them to stay lit....
No, Abby...Not yet!
but its just so tasty!
andrew was just as excited for her birthday as she was. actually more so.
her cake. after the candle holes, and a few swipes at the frosting.
these little toes did get painted after this... we just love her little legs. i think dan must have taken this picture.
a purple shirt and tutu. they didnt have pink...and i was in a hurry, so i thought we'd try something different!

kjersti and andrew were more than happy to help out here:)
we got her Cinderella, she knows most of the songs anyways from youtube. we watched it tonight and it was a hit.
this is a truly exceptional gift! i think it was so sweet of dans family to record a princess book for Abby. the kids got SO excited at hearing their cousins/aunts/uncle/grandma's voice. it was read until we put it away for bedtime.
thank you Jacobsons!!!!
whats this? a helmet from grandma and grandpa...to go with a lovely bike!!!
a cool new little doll house from our neighbor Chelsey and her little boy Trigg.
opening the Bike from Grandma and Grandpa in AK.
Thank you grandma and grandpa! she said "that was so nice of grandma and grandpa to get me a bike!!!"
the birthday shirt. worn at 1, 2 and 3 years old! (same exact shirt).
the birthday party!
very proud of her little bike.
isn's she the cutest little girl!?
working hard figuring out those pedals...
its a pretty sweet ride.
here is our little park we go to like everyday. its in our complex as you can see...
Like Father, Like Son... i must say those two are meant to be together.
we were cracking up watching andrew get used to his little bike again. he was going really fast and it reminded me of a circus act. a little circus dog on a little circus bike. ha!
our family on abbys 3rd birthday. andrew is sneezing here, and coughing in the next picture. the luck!
look how long her eyelashes are... i love her.
this morning before the party.
this was march 8th, just needed to add them to the blog as well.
some more stuff:
The other day we went to crazy8, i got some great stuff on sale... as we were checking out andrew says "what language do brown people speak?" (this was right in front of the lady checking us out, she was black. its been a huge culture change, people here are from all parts of the world- lots of India natives, lots of black people, just much different than south jordan), and i said "English", and he said "well why do they talk so fast?" oh boy.... i did apologize to the lady, and explained we were new here....
So Andrew cleaned up most of the toys himself, and I thought "good teaching moment about service"...so I said "you did such a good job cleaning up the toys, how does that make you feel? Happy inside?" and he said "no, sweaty"... haha. we'll have to keep working on that one.
