WE MADE IT

okay these first few are out of order...but oh well.

So here we are! we made it to alaska. its been very crazy. 12 kids , (three 1 yr olds, 2 three yr olds, one 4 yr old, and two more 3 yr olds and a baby came today with tom and michelle, with jenny and her 3 kids coming still). wow. its been great being here in alaska. fresh air. green trees, green everything. overcast and raining a lot. jackets and pants. wedding. plans and cooking underway. cousins playing outside in the dirt. babies running around the house . dan coming wed night. excited for that! we flew up on friday, it was a long day. we got to the salt lake airport around 12:30 pm, and got to anchorage about 12 am our time. the flight from slc to denver wasn't bad, the kids enjoyed it and andrew was SOOO thrilled about flying on a big airplane. a lot of the time he pretended he was flying the plane with his little delta airplane my mom got him. the second flight was not so fun. the kids didnt really sleep like i was hoping, andrew didnt sleep AT ALL, and abby only slept a few minutes. i had a pounding headache with nothing to take for it, and little water on the plane. i didnt know i could ask for more water...so when i got off i was just wanting to throw up. i was just glad our trip was over. my dad came to pick us up, and got me some advil and water and even an ice cream. the kids slept really good on the way home to my parents (which was 2 1/2 hrs from anchorage), until we were almost home and then abby woke up with a night terror (she does that when she is OVERLY tired) and she cried even after we got home...it took her quite a while to stop. since we've been here we've seen lots of good friends, my sister gets married saturday and my husband dan gets in on wed night, i might not see him til thurs morning if they decide to stay in anchorage for the night. and thats our news...
