A Memorable Memorial Day!

hey good lookin'....

dan is such a good daddy, abby and andrew just LOVE him. he is so patient and playful with them, and he is totally a doting daddy. he adores his babies...

andrew and carter. the first thing andrew said this morning was "i want carter"

"smile" "uhh, not that big!"

she just isn't sure about slides. she started slipping after the picture and held on to one side of the slide with both arms so she wouldn't go down. if i hold her hands she will go down, but otherwise she is a little scared of falling down it.

we call andrew mister mister, and abby is soul sister (haha from that song on the radio)

just chillin
he actually ate the entire burger. thats a record!
the grillmaster

they were together in one of the hammock chairs on our back porch, andrew didn't like having company...

she loves little chairs her size. my brother has a little rocking chair, and some time he is going to help me make one for abby.
whenever daddy is laying down on the floor or where she can reach him, she always comes over and sits on him like this, and brings whatever she has been playing with along.

she thinks she is so big and strong, she carries really heavy things (for her size) all the time.
my contribution to the bbq, its cupcakes (made with whole wheat! and benefiber!) I also filled the cupcakes middles with frosting, and of course its all cream cheese frosting. is there really any other reason to eat anything else?

she just discovered this toy, and is fascinated with it! she has only figured out how to get the orange and blue ones to work yet, but give it time...give it time...

she loves her little babies...

So there are a lot of pictures here, and someday when i get a book made for every year of our blog (or blogs because we have 2 now), it am going to love it looking at all these pictures. i love the different expressions on the kids' faces and some pictures are just so i remember little things they do a lot, like andrew lining up his cars, and abby carrying big things around. for memorial day we went to a park just south of Lifetime Fitness. We had dan be the "grill master" haha jen even got him an apron that says that on it. burgers were great, first time we've had grilled burgers since last summer! margo brought the potato salad, sam and heidi brought rice krispies and pasta salad, we brought cupcakes, jen brought deviled eggs. it was so much fun, it was a perfect day outside, not too hot, not cold. the park wasn't crowded so the kids were free to roam and play. sam and heidi brought a bubble machine the kids LOVED, and margo took the kids on a walk and found a snake. she is so much fun for the kids, she loves to play with them. abby was busy walking around, touching the bubble machine, figuring out how to cross the bridge at the playground...andrew was busy in the sand volleyball pit with some other kids, going for walks around the park, turning the bubble machine on and off, just playing with cousins...so we had fun. so far jet blue hasn't been hiring, but i am hoping they do soon, because i need to go visit my family in AK. i am really missing the alaska summers, and all the fun get togethers my family has.
