What a Weekend! and its just begun.

this is what a bunk would look like for someone traveling by ship in the 1800s i think. it would usually be for the whole family. during they day they went on deck, and stored their things here in their beds.
me and abby in the childrens part of the museum. (church art museum)

off to the playground!
trying to get andy to eat some lunch before that cookie....by the way, he won't let me call him andy, or andy roo, he informs me to call him Andrew. he knows his name, andrew isaac jacobson and his birthday, april 6, and his age, 2, our ages, his favorite shows, he is starting to really file things away... he knows dans full name as well.

she loves it when daddy pretends to "drop" her. what a thrill!
i think dan loves this as much as the kids, he did this to andrew when he was a baby as well.

Let them eat cake....
abby is so hard to contain most of the time now. she always wants to get down and play, unless i am busy, then she seems to ALWAYS want to be held...
Happy Birthday To You....
the result of a couple later than usual nights for andy
the ice cream! posted on the cooking blog, okmaybejustasliver.blogspot.com . i made it with NO sugar, only stevia. but it was truly the best ice cream ever. sooo good. like a frozen custard.

And its only saturday you are thinking right? well it feels like we've already had a weekend, because thurs we went out to Sam and Heidi's for Carters 2nd birthday. it was a good time with family. i also made an ice cream recipe that i LOVED that day. then friday we took andrew to School Lunch with Karlee, and then ended up staying for lunch with Katie as well. he really enjoyed that, he was so excited to go to "school". it was sad though, he tried to play football with the 4th and 5th graders but they wouldn't pass him the ball , and he came back and you could say that his hands did hang down. he was bawling very very sad tears because he couldn't play football. so i walked over and asked if he could throw it to somebody, which he did but that didn't fix it...he was still pretty heart broken , because now recess was over. he ran all over the field for a little bit with them, i was surprised he wasn't shy or scared at all to join in with the bigger kids... then friday afternoon we went to a store called Pirate-O's, very cool place! lots of imported chocolate to choose from, pesto sampling, Biscoff cookies (love those!) and some irish shortbread cookies that were especially excellent with a Lindt chocolate egg on top (i came up with that combo- one i WILL do again!!!) then we were to come to my place, but i didnt have a key to my own house... so we went to Jens to meet dan and go downtown. We ate at the Nauvoo Cafe (a favorite of mine, they make a sandwich with really thick tasty ham, swiss, lettuce (i leave the tomato out), and then they mix bbq sauce with miracle whip or mayo, and its just SOOOO good. i left loving it... then we went to the museum where they were having artists live working on things so it was really fun to watch. i love watching them work. As far as my hcg maintenance, it is "offically" done, however, yesterday because i couldn't get into my house, which is where i planned on eating lunch, i filled up on candy we got at Pirate-O's, and then just kind of said screw it and enjoyed my evening, and ate my dinner, followed by cheese and crackers and some chocolate truffle things at the museum, and i think because about a week or so ago i was getting frustrated with not maintaining, like doing a steak day every other day or every 2 days, no matter what i did, i read up on the Dr Simeons origional Pounds and Inches manuscript about hcg, and he said when patients end the diet starving, they may have pushed their bodies too far and dipped into brown fats, and i was taking an appetite suppressant, so when i ended i was starving, even taking that, so i think i just shouldn't have taken it, and then i would have stopped earlier, which is where i should be. so i think now i am going to try to keep my weight around 128-130 ish, and the past week has been dramatically better. my body seems to have said "ok that is a good weight for us. we like that much better." and i have been able to eat wheat bread, crackers, peanut butter (probably WAY too much. its been irresistible), and i've maintained that pretty well. today is a steak day, but as i said earlier, i ate a ton of stuff i probably shouldn't have. also because i didn't really do that well in the first part of maintenance because i was trying to maintain a weight by body did not support, i think i might need to extend the maintenance a little, i mean i weigh every day and if i am above 131 i will probably just do a steak day for the rest of my life (excluding any future pregnancies of course...) but thats where i want to be. the gym has been great this week. i have been doing a little more cardio than usual, which is great for me, i struggle to do that because i get bored. then i do some circuit training with weights, which i love, i have always loved weights, its fun and you are constantly doing something different. then i have been doing the steam room, which has eucalyptus in it, and its been leaving me feeling like a million bucks. i love the childcare, for 2 hrs a day, everyday i can use it!!! wahooo!!! and the kids are doing well there. andy loves it, and abby is not screaming every time i leave her now. thats nice.
