Valentines...

during the opening ceremonies for the olympics. she was showing off her cruising and walking skills, thats when she took her first steps.

abby helped herself to some sugar cookie...we decorated some saturday (my favorite time of year to decorate cookies!)

this is abby last night, her little "valentine" shirt from my mom. it was so cute with her just in her diaper.

So abby turned 11 months on friday! She started out her new age with sort of a bang, she took her first steps! she is pretty steady standing on her own as well, and she cruises all over the place holding on to furniture. Poor little lamb is sick today, started getting it yesterday. We took her in today, she didn't sleep much last night and has been coughing and ton, really stuffy, fever, all that. she did have an ear infection and the dr said rsv was really going around so its probably that. so we got anti-biotics for the ear infection and some more baby motrin and baby benadryl. andrew also has something, it actually started with him, although he hasn't been too bad as long as we let him watch a movie or little einsteins. so yesterday we kept the kids home while i went to church and taught our primary class. it was the first time in a LONG time i can remember getting SO MUCH out of sacrament meeting. it was great. i felt so bad for the kids yesterday though, they just felt so crappy. saturday when andrew really got hit with it, jen said as we were leaving "get feeling better andrew", and he got the saddest look like he was starting to cry, and looked up and said "i don't know how". poor little babe. sometimes he still reminds me of an overgrown baby when he is asleep. still so simple and so innocent. especially sometimes when he asks me questions. sometimes it makes me realize how really small he is at 2, almost 3.... So anyways, our valentines day was spent caring for sick kids. trying to get things they will eat or drink, yogurt was a big hit with abb, andrew always goes for banana's.... i need to make more yogurt today. luckily making it myself it has no sugar and its really cheap! and i love not having all the additives in my food. i know what i'm getting and what i am not! my wheat grinder is coming today in the mail. oooooh joy oh joy! i am so excited. its the k-tech by blend-tec. its the best. best best best! my mom has one and i am thrilled i now have one since she is in alaska and i can't use hers... in arizona audrey had it and so i would use that all the time. anyways, my time will be short here, abb is napping but that is a wild card, she could wake up anytime. so i'll get on to a couple pics...
