Abby is 6!

SO with birthdays always comes reminiscing of the beginning. The pregnancy, the anticipated delivery, the first time holding our new baby, the hospital stay, bringing home baby and flying through the first year. Looking through abbys pictures I had forgotten just how bald her little head was for so long, and how chubby her cheeks were! I am going to miss my 5 year old abby- some of the best things about her 5 year old self
*loved to help with ANYTHING. Seriously was my best help around. And happy to do it! (she's starting to grow out of that phase:(  )
*Little Mama- she is still full swing here- she is SO good with babies and little kids. So patient ( which surprises me a bit because she isn't patient with me one bit!) She keeps them safe and loves to entertain them with songs and dances, pretty much anything she thinks they would enjoy.
*Hard worker- she helps- and works til its done usually! And when we bike on long rides, she is not a complainer- Andrew can get tired of biking and complain quite a bit, but she is still happy to be there.
*Artist. She is always creating artwork, little books, stories, you name it. She loves her markers, and uses them every single day, and they are all over the place...
Anyways, those are a few of her highlights at this age. We have made many cookies, waffles, bread batches, anything baking really- she loves it. She loves to take care of owen, and help with bella's bath after i get owen out. Anyways I think she had a great birthday. I taped balloons and streamers across her doorway, we decorated the house (when I say 'we' I mean me. ) I asked her what she wanted for her birthday breakfast, thinking waffles with whipped cream or french toast, but she chose Egg Sandwich (which was a great choice considering all the sugar heading her way). Then we took donuts to the school to share with her class, came home and had a party with 2 best friends and their siblings (I wasn't for a full blown house full of kids type party.) Even with a low key party it was a good deal of work! After the friend party we had a family party and she loved having her cousins over:) Here are some pictures from the day!
