i dont think i could eat at something like this- i got a hot dog with dan when we saw Phantom of the Opera, and i cringe when i think of that....SOOO bad..

i had to take a picture of this- (from Seinfeld)

they just put their garbage out on the curb, tons of tons of it...

this is by where we live, it is so pretty!

Fire Island beach, apparently in the summer people swim here. didnt know that when we came before. it was SOOO crowded. my pictures have random people far more than i had hoped.

yay! the beach! it took us almost 4 hours to get here, due to a lot of driving around, and it was SOO welcome for the kids to run.

that bone skinny kid is in SO many of my pictures. Ugh.

anybody know how to photoshop him out?

what a cute little tiny girl!

i LOVE this one

last time she cried when andrew touched the waves, this time she got so brave and actually played a little in the water.

he was sort of in a time out here, he kept going further and further into the water. i didnt want him trying to swim- 1 it was SUNDAY, and 2, i wasn't swimming. we just brought their suits because last time they got soaking wet in their clothes. i didnt want him going past his shins/knees....

nothin cuter than a beach baby. a chubby beach baby.

she just LOVED the sand

they had a great time building these tunnels

heading home....

driving thru Midtown Tunnel.

In the Lincoln Tunnel.
And that what our trip to NYC. Jen flew i n for the weekend. We started out with breakfast at Ihop. now it seems like a blur... after that i think we parked and walked around time square, central park... we saw the temple, and did a lot of walking. the next day we did the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. that took a good part of the day. then we stopped at Boston Market and came home. Sunday we drove out to Long Island. We first went to Sand Point Preserve, it wasn't quite what we thought it would be though, so it took us a LONG time to get to Fire Island. but the kids got out, ran around and we had a nice time sitting on the beach with them. i love hearing the waves, and watching them crash. and watching the kids play in the sand. we had a great time with jen and wished she didnt have to leave so soon!
