Pictures of the Kids

this was right before church. it made us 5 minutes late, but it was better late than never. on the way home both girls fell asleep and abby was really needing a nap, so this would NOT have happened.

these were taken today. dan is out of town until tomorrow. so it was just me and the kids. we did pretty well. but it was no fun going thru the rain with the kids. especially when we got home and both girls were asleep and it was raining outside... but we made it. and we got a nap  too! i put a scripture movie on for andrew  and us girls took a great sunday nap.

i love this dress. i saw it a couple weeks ago, and when it was still there the other day i grabbed one. i was very happy with how it looked on her too. i think its just darling.

he LOVES any sport. he is a cutie.

Dinner in NYC recently complement of Vivint Solar.

some of the appetizers. it was a beautiful display! and pretty much everything i tried was very tasty!!! (i was very brave too and didnt pick it apart before trying it.)

a crab cake, it was WAY good.

a 44 oz 55 day ages porterhouse steak dinner for 2. $110. whew! it was good. and the steak knives were even the brand of the restaurant= David Burke Kitchen

i think we had 28 in our group.

these were taken april 16 (my 8th anniversary. i thought it somewhat fitting to get pictures of our children that day. especially since dan was out working).

the grass didnt last too long- there were bugs and it was kind of dirty. we soon added a blanket...

i weighed her on our scale the other morning, she was 19.4 pounds, at 8 months now. wearing 12 mo clothes!

NEARLY a perfect picture. had i been paying more attention to my viewfinder instead of making her smile and look. i need TWO of me when i take pictures of my kids....

this was all andrews idea- he loves his little sister. and he likes to let her "play" with his hair. lucky for him she can't pull it...

Ok. well that is a lot of pictures. but well, this is my life in pictures. and i want them all. i know that i will want to see all the different expressions my children would make, and i just ended up loving those black and white pictures. some of our life- its almost midnight so this will be somewhat of a summup- sorry i don't mean to cheat you blog. but i will need sleep. i said i wouldn't stay up past 10 doing this, and here i am 2 hours later. but my pictures are edited and they will make on the blog before dan gets back tomorrow. we have a storm going on here in NJ right now, lots of rain. i think i heard a tornado siren a couple days ago, i didnt think they had those here.
anyways, for our 8th anniversary, we went to NYC. we had planned on dinner there, but ended up getting caught up in traffic (it was the 14th we celebrated it, which was a saturday). we had time for a hot dog, which was the worst thing i have even eaten. that i can remember right now anyways. it was BAD. we chased it down with a fresh bagel from a place near our theater, which was EXCELLENT. that was one good bagel. then we saw Phantom of The Opera! i was excited because i liked the movie and music of that, its kind of a classic. that was fun. my first ever Broadway show.
Other news- hmm i feel way too rushed, so don't be surprised if i end up doing a post in a few days to catch up on life. dan went to UT to visit family and see the spring football game. which i think by definition would be a scrimmage... anyways me and the kids went swimming and to the gym earlier that day. andrew said it was the best day ever because he got to go to the gym two times in one day. then i came home and made bread. and cleaned the house. it was one of the most tiring days ever;) but thats ok i got a nap today. and i think i shall require another one tomorrow... anyways, thats about it for now. goodnight!
