The Healing Fields

Yes that is a doll stroller. she is 3 weeks old here.  and i took this picture when the kids were away so that they didnt get any ideas:)

3 weeks old!

3 weeks old here. getting chubbier:)

i made this blanket for abigail's bed. still need to quilt or tie the middle. but i hand stitched the edges.

she is happy- she LOVES her mommy:)

went with Jen to the Womens Expo in Utah County.  tried isabella in the sling for the first time, she LOVED it. slept the whole time.

this morning abby brought a stool to where dan was standing so she could reach Isabella and kiss her. So Sweet....

went to sacrament meeting today! she started crying right after this picture, she wasn't too happy. she was hungry.

At the Healing Field. dan...why oh why.....i suppose i'll take what i can get.

much better.

me and the girls.

Grandma Margo and Abigail

she LOVED trying to catch the flags.

Andrew is Jen's right hand man. he LOVES her....

One Flag for each person who died on 9/11. i think every flag has a note about the person it represents.

i have a feeling we werent aware this picture was taken right then... we don't look ready.

abby thought she was so funny moving from the spot i put her at.

she always has her hands up by her face...

audreys son David got this outfit when he was a baby. i think it might have been from Audrey's baby shower...anyways, kind of a sentimental piece. i should send it to her for her babe.

i'm so small on this big couch!

not too much bigger than the phone.

or dads hand.

my mom sure loves me though. she holds me as much as she can.

even when im just sleeping.

but especially when i am awake. because she knows before she can blink an eye i'm going to be walking. and then running. and then starting school....and someday moving out onto my own and starting my own life....
So on facebook, my phone tried to correct my misspelling of Healing Fields and put health fields. i got a laugh out of that. I think the first year they did that in Sandy was 2003, Dan and I went. We were newly dating at the time. i should upload a picture from there. it was before i had a digital camera (yes there was a time. i can't imagine it now, but it did exist...), so i would have to scan in on. what a pain. haha. technology has made me lazy. and wondering what i did without a blog or digital camera. i mean REALLY. what did i do!? well anyways, we went with jen, margo and our family. well, backup. first we went to church today. all 5 of us at church. kind of a good moment for me. i am really glad to have us all there...its like i feel like its kind of official that we have grown. i dont know if that makes sense. but taking all the kids to church was a good feeling... anyways, then we went to the healing field with said family. it was jam packed. every other year we've been in utah we've gone i think, and its never been more than a couple people here and there. i was very glad more people were going to honor and remember the date by visiting the Healing Fields, but it wasn't as quiet and empty as before, which was kind of nice- first because the kids weren't going to get lost in a crowd, and second, it was more peaceful. lingering was more comfortable because it was so empty. anyways, it was still nice. they also had a big statue put up this year that brought more attention. we then followed that by a bbq at here at home. that was very tasty- mom we had corn on the cob. i thought of you. then we put the kids to bed, which wasn't quite the battle it usually is due to the extreme exhaustion our kids seemed to have...that was great. then dan and i watched something on 9/11 with president Bush, it was very good. i really liked Bush. i felt like he was for the most part an honest man doing his best to be our president. i felt like he was a good man at heart. i trust him. unlike our current leader. pretty much the opposite. i know Bush wasn't perfect, and there are things i probably don't know that weren't so great, but the overall feeling i get from him was good. so opposite now with the president. i do not trust him. i do not get any good feelings from him... i can only hope he is not re-elected. anyways, this isn't a rant on politics. tomorrow andrew starts school, so i better get blogging so i don't get to bed late.
